There are some school evenings that feel a little different. The 2026 Bonfire Family Evening was one of them.
As families gathered, the atmosphere quickly shifted from an ordinary school evening to a celebration of the Ashford Academy community. There was music in the air, laughter all around and plenty of excitement as our learners prepared to share their talents.
The eveningβs performances brought the stage to life, with our learners showcasing their creativity and confidence through music and other entertaining performances. It was wonderful to see them step into the spotlight and enjoy the moment with their families and friends cheering them on.
Then came one of the eveningβs biggest surprises: our teachers took to the stage! Their unexpected performance brought plenty of laughter and proved that our staff are quite happy to step outside the classroom and have a little fun too.
Beyond the performances, the evening gave families, learners and teachers an opportunity to relax, connect and enjoy one anotherβs company. It was a chance to celebrate the people who make Ashford Academy such a vibrant place to learn and grow.
