This Boarding Handbook explains how our systems meet the highest requirements laid down by the National Minimum Boarding Standards.
The handbook will be helpful mainly to parents and guardians, pupils, and staff. It outlines critical features in a boarding pupil’s day-to-day life and routine, provides key staff contact details, and details school policy and practice in several essential areas.
We know that getting used to boarding takes a little time and effort; we have made special consideration for first-time boarders to make the best during their preparations for what will be a unique learning experience this term.
Boarders will start arriving at school on Sunday 30 January, and staff will be on hand to guide and assist them in settling in their new hostels. Teaching and learning start on Tuesday 1 February.
